Venice - A city of water

Water water everywhere!  A beautiful (if not perilous place) for faux furs!  The place has water running through it everywhere and there are bridges upon bridges!
Lots of water

The rest of my time in Rome

Sorry it's been so long since I posted!  Things have been busy and Internet was sort of sketchy in Venice and Berlin!

We were shown around Rome a bit by one of the female humans friend who is actually from Rome! We got to see a pyramid in the city and Keats final resting place!

Tour of Tuscany

On Tuesday, we took what was "supposed" to be a food and wine tour of Chianti and Umbria....

Well, we wound up in Tuscany at Cortona and Montepulciano, and there was hardly any food or wine...  Moo urns!!!  First we drove to Cortona, a very very very long drive. It was a very beautiful town, but very hilly!  (Another thing they neglected to mention on their website). We tried walking up the hill to what they said would be a fantastic view, but every time the humans reached the top of a hill, the next hill was steeper than the previous one. Eventually, they decided just to go for a coffee, which was just fine with me. Mooey glad to be a faux fur, since there are virtually no public washrooms and you have to buy a coffee if you want to use the washroom at any cafe (they said you're lucky if there's a toilet seat, soap, running water, toilet paper and paper towels or a hand dryer)....

Angels and Demons Tour & First Day in Rome

Our first day in Rome was on a Sunday and the hums had booked us all on a themed tour. It was based on the Dan Brown novel, "Angels and Demons". We met at Piazza del Popolo very early in the morning, and thankfully it was a small group, lead by an American tour guide, so we could understand everything she said.  She was very good and very interesting!

Travel Day

It was a really long 2 days of traveling, and for a faux fur, they sure were trying to stuff moo full of food!  I think I was fed 7 times since leaving Edmonton at 9:30am!  We probably arrived in Rome around 24 hours later Edmonton time....too much food.

On our first flight from Edmonton to Toronto, they fed us supper. We even got a menu to choose what we wanted!  And yes, I started with a snackie and white wine (they didn't have champers).
Choosing my meal.

Finally got the humans excited!

So with only 2 weeks left til we leave, I FINALLY got the humans excited!!!!  It's about moo-ing time!

They say they're mostly excited because not only will they get to finally go to these places they've wanted to long before they adopted me, taste the food (we all love food!), but because they will either finally get to meet people in real life they have met online (Thanks to moo!!!!), as well as catch up with friends that they know from here in Canada who also happen to be going at the same time!!!

Getting Ready for Europe

Only 2 1/2 weeks left until we leave for Europe and still lots to do! The humans have been busy working OT and studying respectively, so it's been left up to me to ensure that we're ready to go!

Although considering my size, it takes about 10 times as long for me to complete a task than it would one of my humans.

I've been busy buying gifts for all my FB friends that I'll finally get to meet when I get to Europe and will be making room in the humans suitcases for all of those, my clothes and ensuring there's plenty of room left over for me to bring back souveneirs!
