Delicious Crave Cupcakes

The humans had bought a Groupon a few weeks ago for Crave Cupcakes, newly opened in Edmonton, but long established in Calgary. I finally managed to convince them on Sunday to go collect.

Goodies from Crave
One Dozen Cupcakes
Each Groupon was good for 6 full sized cupcakes or 12 mini cupcakes. The humans picked up an assortment 12 full sized cupcakes.
The Menu
The flavors they chose included Nutty Over Chocolate, A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts (Chocolate), Crave-O-Licious, Dirty Blonde, Just Chocolate, Red Velvet Elvis and Dark Angel.

I first tried the Nutty Over Chocolate, the icing had a strong peanut butter flavor, combined with the chocolate cupcake, it tasted exactly like a Reese Peanut Butter Cup. The Dark Angel was absolutely delicious! Definitely my favorite with a very creamy, not too sweet, cream cheese frosting! The cake itself was a very light, moist chocolate cake that was very chocolatey without being sweet. I also highly recommend Just Chocolate, which again had a light, moist chocolate cupcake base, topped with an extremely buttery chocolate butter cream icing.

I decided to save a few cupcakes for another day, including the Crave-O-Licious, Red Velvet Elvis and A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts and found them all half devoured!
Half Devoured Cupcakes!
Shocking!
The lesson here - Do Not leave your Crave cupcakes unsecured if you plan to eat them later! They are too delicious for others to resist!
