Win Tickets to Edmonton Craft Beer Festival!

I have to admit that I don't know much about beer, except what I like including Barking Squirrel and Steam Whistle. So going to a craft beer festival seems like the perfect way to try more beer, find out what I like and don't like, as well as learn more!

Run by Alberta Beer Festivals, the Edmonton Craft Beer Festival being held June 5-6, 2015 at the Expo Centre will feature over 400 local, national and international craft beers. There will also be food from over 20 Edmonton restaurants, not to mention seminars on cooking with beer, a Brew Master seminar and Beer University! I’m a bit of a knowledge geek, so I’ll likely be attending their Beer University session where they’ll be talking about the history of beer, beer styles, what goes into beer and how beer is made .

I love attending festivals as it gives me the opportunity not only to try stuff that I might not otherwise try, but also stuff I  might not otherwise be aware of! It also gives me the chance to directly compare different things, which if tried on it’s own, I’d never be aware of the differences.

Luckily for you, I have festival tickets to give away! I have 4 pairs of tickets to Friday, June 5th and 4 pairs of tickets to Saturday, June 6th! You will have to purchase your own tasting tokens, which are sold in sheets of 10 for $10. Each sample is a minimum of 2 tokens, but food and specialty beers may cost more.

To enter, you MUST leave a blog comment indicating which date, Friday, June 5 or Saturday, June 6, that you wish to win tickets for. Note that if you indicate via Rafflecopter that you did something, but you actually didn’t (eg. Followed on Twitter), entries will be checked and verified, and those that are false will be considered invalid - just to be fair to those that actually did. The deadline to enter is Monday, June 1, 2015. I will be notifying winners on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. (NOW CLOSED)

UPDATED Wednesday, June 13, 2015: The contest is now closed! Thanks to everyone who participated! The winner are @resp_traveller, @jackbrat, @Boc40, @mycolouredsky, @80sssgirl, @_frankenfish, @Rremington7S and Thuy Nguyen! Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your tickets to the Edmonton Craft Beer Festival!
