Cookie Love, a local bakery serving up fresh made cookies opened in Glenora last year and is celebrating their first anniversary with a cookie eating contest to benefit charity! They will be selling raffle tickets for $10 each at their storefront (12325a 102 Ave, Edmonton, AB) and at 124 Street Grand Market this Thursday, September 26, 2013 in order to raise funds for charity. There will be two prize packages to be won: one worth $500 donated by the businesses located on 124 Street, and the other prize package worth $1,000 donated by businesses that participate in Local4Local4Local. All of the proceeds will go the Cookie Eating Champions charity of choice!
Come out on Thursday, September 26 at 7:00pm to 124 Street Grand Market (124 Street and 108 Avenue) to cheer on local TV and radio personalities who will eat their way to glory in order to win money for the charity of their choice and bragging rights for the first ever Cookie Love Fall Cookie Eating Classic (#cookieeatingclassic).
Yours truly will be one of the judges, helping to count the fistfuls of cookies each celebrity plows through in the 2 minutes they're allotted to eat as many cookies as they can in order to be crowned a cookie eating champion!
