Our first day in Rome was on a Sunday and the hums had booked us all on a themed tour. It was based on the Dan Brown novel, "Angels and Demons". We met at Piazza del Popolo very early in the morning, and thankfully it was a small group, lead by an American tour guide, so we could understand everything she said. She was very good and very interesting!
It was a bit of a whirlwind tour and my mooey brain can't remember every single detail, but we did go into Basilica di Santa Maria del Popolo where Robert Langdon found the clue for Earth. We also visited St. Peters Square where they found the clue for wind. We also visited St Maria della Vittoria where they found the clue for fire and Piazza Navona where the clue for water was in the fountain. We also visited Castel Sant'Angelo where they rescued the final cardinal.
